2008 Vintage
The 2008 vintage in Napa reminded us that Mother Nature is always in charge. Wind and rain struck during flower. There was frost on April 15th. Drought conditions continued for the third year in a row. All of this ensured that we didn't grow soft after the easy 2007 vintage. While we were having our character built, the grapes were developing character as well. In our opinion, the wines we made from the tiny 2008 vintage crop are some of the best we've ever made.

The 2008 Baconbrook Cabernet is true to its Spring Mountain heritage. Rich and layered, this inky black wine explodes with wonderful currant and berry flavors, complemented by strong coffee, mint, herb, mineral, and forest floor.
