Bright sour cherry with just a touch of cedar and smoke. Still rather young and primary. Good but should get better and more complex. Hold on to it for 3+ years.

I do love this wine and especially love the True Vineyard edition. But then I like most of what TRB tends to lend his talents to. I also tried the 2009 River’s-Marie last night and found it be strangely familiar. Looking at the notes is says 1/3 is from Baconbrook! Very cool. I noted this in my tasting notes on CellarTracker and gave you a shout-out in the process.
